Everything you might want to know.
Straight answers about pricing, lifespan, materials and process.
What is your minimum project size?+
We take on projects of all sizes – from a single residential driveway to multi-kilometre road builds. Get in touch and we will confirm suitability during the free site visit.
How much does tar or asphalt surfacing cost?+
Pricing depends on area, base condition, thickness and access. After a free site visit we send an itemised written quote so you know exactly what you are paying for.
How long does tar surfacing last?+
A properly laid tar surface on a compacted base typically lasts 5–10 years. Regular seal coating and crack sealing can extend that lifespan significantly.
What is the difference between tar and asphalt?+
Both use bitumen as the binder. Tar surfacing is applied on site with stone chips, while asphalt is a pre-mixed hot material laid with a paver. Asphalt gives a smoother, denser finish for heavy traffic.
Which areas do you service?+
We operate across Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the North West – including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Mbombela, Rustenburg and surrounding towns.
How quickly can you start?+
For repairs and driveways we can typically be on site within 1–2 weeks. Larger projects are scheduled around your programme.
Do you provide guarantees?+
Yes. Every project is handed over with a written workmanship guarantee and material specifications.
